About Me

Hi, I’m Alyssa — the creator of Alyssamfitt’s Kitchen.

Fitness and food have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started taking the gym seriously in high school, and like many people, my journey hasn’t been perfect. Over the years, I struggled with my weight, my confidence, and my relationship with food. Through changing the way I ate, learning about nutrition, and creating better habits, I was able to lose about 30 pounds — not through extremes, but through balance, consistency, and meals I actually enjoyed.

That’s where my passion really began.

In December, I officially graduated from culinary school, and over the summer, I completed my first bodybuilding competition — completely self-coached. Preparing for that show taught me more than just how to train and eat with purpose. It taught me discipline, self-trust, patience, and the power of committing to yourself. At the same time, culinary school gave me the skills to turn nutrition into meals that are flavorful, creative, and sustainable.

This brand and this cookbook are where those two journeys meet.

I create high-protein, feel-good recipes that support your goals without taking the joy out of eating. I don’t believe in “all or nothing.” I believe in building habits, learning how to fuel your body, and finding a lifestyle you can maintain long-term.

Whether you’re here for fitness, weight loss, wellness, or simply better food — my goal is to show you that progress doesn’t have to feel miserable to be effective. You can work toward your goals and still love what’s on your plate.
